Several of our 2nd grade girls are a part of Brownie Troop 1456. They recently used the engineering design process to build a new trashcan for the Cannon playground. This project was a result of their Leadership Journey in their Brownie Quest. The brownie quest laid out three keys to becoming a leader: discover, connect, and take actions. The brownies discovered a need for less pollution, made the connection to their school, and took action by building the new trashcan structure. Check out the great pictures below.
